To make a long story short. My name is Mark Favela aka “Hollywood Mark “. I was born in East Los Angeles and I learned how to tattoo in Hollywood at @worldfamousspotlighttattoo by Bob and Charlie Roberts. In 1992 I moved to Amsterdam to work for Henk Schiffmacher ( @tattoomuseum )and in 2007 I opened my own tattoo shop in the center of Amsterdam . Although I’m primarily known for tattooing , I have always been a graphic artist: Designing t-shirts, posters,logos,magazine covers ,album covers and more.
I’ve worked with brands such as Gucci, G-Star, Wrangler, Timberlands, Etnies, and Liquor Brand. So basically I’ve been wanting to start my own brand for years , but it never seemed to get off the ground ,making me realize that I couldn’t do this alone. So I started looking for someone to do it with. It has been a long road finding the right person, but after many years of meeting and talking with different people,it all of a sudden came to me !”Bas Tauber “. I’ve been tattooing Bas for years and over time and a lot of tattoos ,we’ve become good friends. Sharing the same interests and ideas , it just felt like the right match.
